Product story: Infuse+
Infuse+ allows you to create your unique world of elements and contemplate in your way.
Client: Infuse+
It was right in the middle of the pandemic, a young team of entrepreneurs came up with a brilliant meditation app project.
Product Goals
The research team were serving mountains of great meditation content with a unique methodology, so the design should bring that content to mobile phones with keeping that methodology.
The app must have ‘cycles’ so people can consume the content in a regular and progressive basis.
The methodology is designed to be ‘unique’ for every person, letting people to pick any element in the life and use them as ‘meditation helpers’.
With guidance of those two, we decided to design a ‘Fellow’ to help people with having quality personal time and contemplating in their own way.
Discovery first
We conducted two rounds of discovery sessions with the client, first one was mainly focused on understanding how they practice their methodology in offline world.
Second round of the workshops were to discuss how we could ‘remediate’ their existing content, and how to create ‘cycles’ in the app for potential users.
Sketching
Following the workshop rounds, we quickly created two sets of concepts that illustrates client’s methodology and bring their existing content into life in mobile.
Those two concepts were stemming from two different approaches, and both of them were able to fulfil the product goals we set.
After final discussions, we ended up a third one which was simply a mash-up of both. The final concept provides ‘content cycles’ and offers a progressive way of use to help people with making most of their meditation time.
Wireframing
When we had the sketches done and agreed on them with the client, we quickly crafted the wireframes and the last but not the least part of the design: User flow diagram.
The cyclic design is embedded within this flow diagram to guarantee effective use of content, and a progressive user experience.
User Interface Design
We designed an experience that allows people to create their own ‘bags of precious things’, and have some personal time to contemplate.
The best saying to illustrate that feeling was ‘immerse into your world and rest in a tranquil fashion’.
All of the work has been completed on Figma.
Pattern library
We have created a set of design elements in ‘dark turquoise twilight’ that calms your mind, and collated a design system in that direction.
And a ‘light theme’ to accompany, in accordance with the main ‘dark’ branding.
